You Tube Documentary Project ~ Life in a Day
If you’re anything like me, I’m sure your work day involves visiting You Tube at least once. I’m personally a huge fan of their favorites feature, it’s a great way to keep a playlist of songs organized. Last night I was checking out this new to me song by The Black Keys (what a fun video) when I noticed an ad at the top for a fun documentary project that Youtube is part of – Life in a Day. They’re opening it up to everyone to participate – and the premise seems pretty straightforward, grab a video camera and document a day in your life this Saturday, July 24th. Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald will be teaming up to direct and produce an experimental film using the footage they choose from the submissions they receive. If that’s not exciting enough – the film will be premiering at Sundance in July 2011. Click here for all the details on the project.
