Vancouver Fashion – Adhesif’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection
Adhesif Clothing’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection is now available, and we’re excited to see all of the innovative new designs and fun Alice in Wonderland theme. Vancouver local Melissa Ferreira has designed pieces that are whimsical and flirty, that you can feel good about wearing. They are all made from reworked vintage material so they are very eco-friendly.
Melissa Ferreira started sewing at a young age and is mostly self taught, with a few lessons from her mom. We love that one of the philosophies that drives her work is, “waste not, want not.” It’s a good rule to live by, and a great way to start off 2010!

I know a lot of us throughout the Pacific Northwest and other parts of North America had an interesting time travelling last holiday season! Flight delays, slippery roads, the works… If you’re flying – it’s best to be prepared. Accessories are the perfect way to freshen up any of your outfits from last year. I’m loving this purse from Vancouver designer Ashley Watson, hand stitched from recycled leather and clearly the type of quality purse that would last from season to season. The scarf from the very talented Michelle Brusegaard is just one of the items I’d love to own from her Etsy shop.

We think it’s wonderful that Tabitha Savoie of Togs and Jenny Yen of Cici met by chance at a fashion show, and not only became friends – but went on to create the Two of Hearts clothing line together.
