Home Decor Inspiration
I love how black and white has been used so wonderfully and unabashedly in this home! From the living room to the kitchen, dining room, bedroom and beyond. I thought it’d be fun to pair the home with some colorful Etsy finds.

I found this fun space via Emmas Design Blog who came across it in a recent email from Hops Shop.
Items from Lu Summer’s Etsy shop can be found here.
Statue on the left from Etsy shop, a Fabulous Mess can be found in shop here. Red filing cabinet drawer from Hindsvik can be found here.

How pretty is this space from Elle Decor? I’m loving the laid back design and mix of vintage finds with carefully selected new items – you can see the rest of the spread here. This London Townhouse, owned by Christine d’Ornano and photographed by Simon Upton, seemed just right to pair with some Etsy finds, which I’ve done below. I love the mix of bright yellows, pinks, and more subdued hues throughout the dining room and living room.

I’m a big fan of the neutral tones found in this living room (more images here courtesy of Klikk). It’s got a laidback feel to it that’s really nice. Thought it would be fun to pair the room with some Etsy finds – I love seeing how any room can be finished off with some beautiful handmade accents.

Hope you had a great weekend and for all the Vancouverites that you got a chance to soak up the sunshine!

Have you heard of the site Styleroom? I’m not sure exactly how to describe it, maybe as social networking for folks who love to decorate? Whatever you call it, it’s a great resource to find inspiration from homes decorated by every day people. Today while browsing around the site I was inspired by Benita Larsson’s living room. I love the blue wall, the airiness of the space, and how well the color palette works to create a relaxing and beautiful room. Have a peek at the Chez Larsson blog here.
