			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" src="http://www.handmadeevolution.com/chinesegarden.jpg" alt="Portland Chinese Garden" width="213" height="319" />The <strong><a href="http://www.lansugarden.org/home" target="_blank">Lan Su Chinese Garden</a></strong><a href="http://www.lansugarden.org/home" target="_blank"></a> honors Portland&#8217;s relationship with its sister city Suzhou and features Chinese trees and flora that you can explore as you walk down its winding mosaic paths. The cultural heritage garden opened in September 2000 and to kick off the 10-year anniversary celebration, the garden is offering free admission and special events until the 11th. This coming Monday, January 4th, check out the stenciling offered from 11-2pm and create some artwork on your lunch hour with the garden&#8217;s stencils and botanical stamps.</p>
<p>The garden is a gorgeous and peaceful oasis in the city and this is the perfect time for non-members to explore it for free.
