Etsy’s latest feature is Treasury East! What’s pretty special about Etsy’s homepage is that it’s actually curated by both Etsy staff as well as Etsy’s users. Currently it’s all about the timing if you want to be the lucky one to curate one of these lists. Recently, Etsy has launched a new feature that they envision will replace the new system. One of it’s best features – anyone can create a treasury at any time, be they a buyer or seller on Etsy. The thought is that this new feature will eventually replace their current treasury system. Lackluster Vintage Co.

Rachel Bone of Red Prairie Press launched her own line of screenprinted t-shirts over 3 years ago and hasn’t looked back! Leaving behind an unfulfilling job, a crummy boss, and the relative comfort of a steady paycheck was a leap of faith – but it’s clear Rachel made the right choice. Her line is now carried in dozens of shops and has been featured on countless blogs – she’s living the dream life of a handmade artist. Which involves lots of hard work I’m sure – but also enables her to set her own hours, develop artistically and collaborate with her husband (he designs all the kids tees)!

I’m a big fan of her Spring 2010 collection and was really happy when Rachel emailed me to share it – it’s available online here.

Independent designer Beki Wilson of Seattle is clearly focussed on creating clothing that is beautiful, innovative and wearable. I’m a big fan of several pieces from her current collection – Out of Line.

Spotted her lovely designs on Daisy Janie’s blog just recently.

Posting may be light for the rest of the week… Have had some computer issues (ugh), more showings of the apartment (still no offers!) and all kinds of other stuff going on – mostly fun!

lamixx has found their newest fan – me! Most days you’ll find me in a t-shirt and jeans – comfortable and casual. But it’s tough to find high quality, affordable basics that are made in North America. With this line you get all three – I’ve got my eyes on the cardigan pictured above…

On a side note – hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! We’ve got a mini-vacay planned soon so I know I’ll be daydreaming about that all week…
