Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was filled with time away from the computer and was really nice. Wanted to share this space with you today, I was especially taken in by the view in the top photo. So lovely! These photos were taken by the Australian photographer Lucas Allen. I love these two rooms and their emphasis on beautiful colors, reclaimed objects and nature. I’ve found some items from Etsy that I think would go really well in these spaces (middle image above). Found the space via the design blog Charming Quark.
1). Butterfly: Golly Bard 2). Key Rack: Half Pint Salvage 3). Deer Pillow: Utilitarian Franchise

Seems I’ve got a new favorite shelter mag to share here on the blog! The design details in this space are so fun and unique. Again though, I’m wishing I could speak Spanish so I could tell you more about the owners of this home. Visit Mi Casa Revista here to see more pictures. What are your favorite shelter mags?

I don’t know about you – but I feel like having an inspiring place in your home where you can work and create that’s all yours is a wonderful thing. For me it’s my office, and especially the area around my desk – whether I’m working on a new design for a client or a fresh blog post it’s nice to be surrounded by beautiful things. Here are some handmade finds ready to brighten up any desktop.

Clockwise from top left: 1). Shim and Sons 2). Zoetropa 3). Saddle Stitch Studio 4). tiny shoppe
