Pugly Pixel – Dollhouse Miniature Prints

dollhouse miniature prints

I spotted Pugly Pixel’s dollhouse miniature prints on the homepage of Etsy last night, and wanted to post about them right there and then. I held back until today – but am still excited to share them with you! I know for many of us dollhouses have a special place in our hearts – even though we’re adults now. For me – I know it’s because my grandma had her own dollhouse and also had my grandpa make one for all of her granddaughters – including me. It was around that time that I was introduced to the magic of miniatures. My grandma had a subscription to this great miniatures magazine and I would pore over every edition, marveling at all the detailed work. Now I see these prints and I’d really like to have them for our kitchen – they’re so fun!

Click here to visit the Pugly Pixel shop, and do visit her blog here too.

Hope your weekend is wonderful and it’s hot and sunny where you are – but maybe not too hot! We’ll be going on our weekly hike and I’m sure I’ll make some time for some fun projects too.

  3. How cute. This is reminding me that renovating my childhood dollhouse was supposed to be on my 2010 DIY to-do list but I haven’t done more than buy a few supplies for it. Gotta get on that.

  5. Very fun!

I adore dollhouses, and still have mine from when I was a little girl. It was simple and pretty, in grey and white with gingerbread detailing — a gift from my Grandma, from her store… a year later, when I was 8, I went off to Summer camp, and returned to find that my Mum had completely re-done the dollhouse! She painted the interior and exterior, sewed curtains, installed mini-wood flooring, and even bought me a few new pieces of furniture. I still love it and cannot wait to give it to my own daughter one day… thanks for bringing me back :) I will have to visit their site…

Completely precious, in the best way. These would be great in a little girl’s playroom, too!
